"TO GRANNY بيبي" is a collection close to the heart of designer Aloïse, being an exploration of her grand-mother Betty's Iraqi identity.
With this project, we aim to honour Betty's original culture and heritage. Drawing the complex lines between having to integrate as a young woman to a new country and culture (United-Kingdom) while letting go of alot of the culture she grew up in (Iraq).
